About

This is my unfiltered account of life after being diagnosed with breast cancer at age 26. The first few days of my diagnosis were very dark. I secretly searched the internet trying to find more information or someone out there like me–young, BRCA positive and fighting breast cancer. Ultimately, I only found really scary statistics. The internet is full of worst case scenarios so I hope this blog provides insight to my sisters who are fighting this battle with me. This cancer thing isn’t easy, but throughout the struggles of my diagnosis I’ve found a network of supporters in the form of lifelong friends and complete strangers. Cancer has taken a lot of me, but it has also changed my life {for the better} in ways I had never imagined. Read my blog and you’ll see just what I mean.

Love and Hugs,
